A collaboration between mother and daughter, 'my mother's mother's hands' explores themes of self-care, social class, and performance in public and private spaces. What is inherited and what is cultural across four generations is examined through conversation and the familiar, intimate act of putting on hand cream. This collaborative film bridges the gap between documentary and artist moving image, observation and performance, to provide an experimental portrait of inter-generational relationships and shared memory.
